The mission of Darul Uloom Austin is to seek the pleasure of Allah by preparing our youth to become Hafiz-ul-Qur’an and in future, Muslim scholars, who would become the flag bearers of Islam and achieve success in this life and the hereafter. We endeavor to provide the necessary environment, education and upbringing to each student.

Our classes are conducted by highly qualified and experienced teachers. Alhamdulillah, since our inception in 2007, 2 students have completed memorization of the Holy Qur’an. These students have been leading Taraweeh during the Ramadan. Several more students are poised to graduate within a year. We offer full-time Quran Hifz classes for boys. We also offer part-time and Summer intensive Hifz program for boys and girls.

Hifz Programs

Full-time Quran Hifz Program

Darul Uloom Austin (DUA) is enrolling full-time students for the Quran Hifz classes. Three experienced Huffaz, Mufti Omar Hossain, Mufti Naieem Chowdhury, and Hafez Mohammed are teaching the classes. We have limited seats, therefore, enroll your children now to ensure a seat.

 

Location: NAMCC Prayer Hall, 11900 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78753

Age Limit: Boys 6 to 15

Class Hours: Mon-Thurs 8 am to 2 pm, Fri 8 am to 12 pm, Sat: 8 am to 2 pm

Fees: $200 per child (scholarship available for needy students)

Part-time Quran Hifz Program (Boys)

Darul Uloom Austin (DUA) is enrolling students for the boys part-time Quran Hifz class. Two experienced teachers, Mufti Omar Hossain and Hafez Mohammed are teaching this class. This class is geared toward students who are attending full-time school. These students learn Tajweed and memorize the Qur’an. We have limited seats, therefore, enroll your children now to ensure a seat.

 

Location: NAMCC Prayer Hall, 11900 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78753

Age Limit: 6 to 15

Class Hours: Mon-Thurs Magreeb to Isha, Sat: 8 am to 2 pm

Fees: $100 per child (scholarship available for needy students)

Part-time Quran Hifz Program (Girls)

Darul Uloom Austin (DUA) is enrolling part-time students for the girls part-time Quran Hifz class. An experienced teacher, sister Houda Benantar, is teaching this class. This class is geared toward girls who are attending full-time school. These students memorize the Qur’an, learn Tajweed and basic knowledge of everyday Islamic practices. We have limited seats, therefore, enroll your children now to ensure a seat.

Age Limit: 6 to 15

Class Hours: Mon – Thurs: Asr to Maghrib and Sat: 8 AM to 2 PM

Fees: $100 per child (scholarship available for needy students)

Quran Hifz Program for Summer 2012

Darul Uloom Austin (DUA) is pleased to announce enrollment for the Quran Hifz classes for Summer 2012. Three experienced Huffaz, Mufti Omar Hossain, Hafiz Mohammad Ishaqzai and Mufti Naieem Chowdhury, will be teaching the classes. This 6-week intensive course is geared toward memorizing the Holy Qur’an. We have limited seats; therefore, enroll your children now to ensure a seat.

Age Limit: Boys and Girls 6 to 15

Class Begins: Monday, June 4

Class Ends: Friday, July 13

Class Hours: Mon-Thurs 8 AM – 2 PM, Fri 8 AM – 12 PM, Sat: 8 AM – 2 PM

Total Fees: $300 per child (scholarship available for needy students)

$200 second child, $100 third child. $600 max per family.

Home Schooling

Austin Peace Academy offers a home schooling program for DUA students. There is a one time registration fee of $100.00, book fee of $175.00 and fees for standardized tests. There are two tracks for this program.

  1. Self-study: In this track, students pick up package (home work, study materials, etc) every week from the school office and turn them in for review by the teacher. No other assistance is provided by the class teacher. There is no monthly fee for this track.


  2. Assisted-study: In this track, students set up slots of time with the class teacher, pick up individualized package (home work, study materials, etc) every week and turn them in for review by the teacher. There is a monthly fee of $175.00 for this track.

Renaissance Education Foundation also offers a home schooling program for DUA students. This program requires minimum 6 students. Students must attend classes at REF 3 days a week for 2 hours a day. There is a registration fee of $50.00 and monthly fee of $90.00.
